My first mobile phone review! LG is cool enough to select myself as one of the e-influencer for this phone.
My personal thoughts about reviewing this phone is…. by now everyone would have learned about this phone from most major mobile phone review sites. I don’t really see a reason to repeat what they are saying. So I gonna review it in a different way, more on the usefulness of Optimus 7 for myself than what functions it has.

1. Plug Sim Card & Battery > Switch on > Synchronize > GO!
I call this the 4 steps to starting up Optimus 7 phone lol. Nothing much to explain here really.
The best part of this phone is it synchronize with your MSN contact list. If you have been inputting contact numbers into your MSN contact list, there will be next to zero effort in importing your phone book into your new phone. It is that easy!
I didn’t input most of my contact numbers into my MSN contact list in the past though. But it didn’t take alot of effort on my part because I just did it with my computer and then sync back to my Optimus 7 phone
Another great part of doing this is that if I lose my phone, I just have to import my phone list from MSN with a new windows 7 mobile phone!
2. Communicating with your friends
It kinda sucks that Microsoft didn’t put in MSN as a default app. I basically used IE to use the web MSN before the official launch of the apps store. It is crazy just to think that MSN isn’t there when Microsoft did a fantastic job integrating a lite version of Facebook into Optimus 7. The interface is slick, updates are fast, browsing is absolutely lag free, etc.
There are lots of apps popping up in apps store now. I downloaded a twitter app, facebook app, and MSN app. Surprisingly, all of them had slick interface, lag free, etc! Whenever someone goes online or messages me, the top portion of the phone will pop up a mini info. If you own this phone and havent download any apps from the apps store, do it now!

3. Games!!!!! I WANT TO PLAY GAMES!
Lots of games in the apps store now. So many until the point that I can’t go through all of them. One thing for sure, there are lots of great games in the apps store. Big name companies such as Namco Bandai, Konami, Microsoft Game Studios, Gameloft, Electronic Arts, etc are just some of them out there.
I tried a couple of games like Escape, The Harvest, The Revenants, Uno, etc. Most of them are easy to get in and just play without reading any instructions.
A big plus here if anyone is looking for a mobile phone just for games.
Summary
The greatest part about Optimus 7 is really just the simple stuff that Microsoft and LG managed to achieve.
- User friendly, slick and lag free interface
- Apps store with lots of great apps
- Communication made easy with great facebook integration and support from twitter and MSN apps
- Scansearch finding your way even in overseas. I used this in Beijing last week lol
- Stable OS. My Optimus 7 never crashed on me at all ever since I got it.
- Great camera quality, both picture and video.
